The ATLAS-T® Pillow – Featuring AXS (Atlanto-Axial) Support

Is the ATLAS-T® Pillow orthopedic pillow comfortable?
Extremely. The ATLAS-T® Pillow is really two pillows in one. There is a firm core that provides for superior spinal alignment that has a proprietary memory foam layer over the top for superior comfort.

Will I get a better night's sleep?
A regular pillow causes your head and neck to be in a more flexed position. This sleep posture position tightness the soft tissue in the back of your neck and head, pinching off nerve and blood supply starving your muscles, tendons, ligaments, and discs of valuable nutrients needed to function.  Repositioning your sleep posture allows you to wake up without that stiff achy feeling.

Will it help relieve neck pain and associated headaches?
The ATLAS-T® Pillow is designed to support your neck and head while changing your sleep posture.  CT scans performed in an unpublished private study read by an independent radiologist show that patient’s lordoses were improved in all cases tested, thus reducing tension on sensitive soft tissues. The ATLAS-T® Pillow is the only pillow on the market to support the most important vertebrae in your neck…the Atlas and Axis. This is the most nerve and blood rich area of the spine and the most common cause of mechanical headaches and neck pain.

Will the ATLAS-T® Pillow eliminate or reduce my snoring?
The ATLAS-T® Pillow changes your sleep posture by inclining your neck off the bed and slightly extending your head backwards while supporting the top two vertebrae. This position combines three different positions to maintain a more open airway.  A non-published private study of 12 cases showed up to a 66% opening of airways in 75% of the patients tested.  The ATLAS-T® Pillow results were compared to a regular polyurethane pillow.

Although the ATLAS-T® Pillow encourages you to sleep on your back, if you are a side sleeper it will still help with snoring. Side sleeping causes your jaw to relax and gravity to pull your tongue down toward the mattress, thus opening up the back of your throat and upper airway.

Please note that snoring is a symptom that can be from a more serious health problem, it can be caused from several different medical conditions, therefore you should see the advise of a physician if your problem continues.

How long will it take me to get used to the ATLAS-T® Pillow?
Everyone is different, some people feel relief right away, and others take 3 to 5 days to allow their spine to adjust to this optimal sleeping position. This “break-in” period depends on the type of posture and neck curvature that you have, and how well your spine moves. This pillow will change your posture while you lay on it, so if you continue to experience pain or prolonged discomfort, see your doctor.

Can I sleep on my side with the ATLAS-T® Pillow?
Yes, the Atlas-T Pillow is recommended for patients that suffer from certain types of pain in their shoulders when they sleep on their side. The memory foam side area of the pillow is designed to mold to the shoulder and surrounding muscles to disperse pressure on painful joints and muscles. Obviously, if you continue to have pain, see your doctor.

Is the ATLAS-T® Pillow hypoallergenic?
Yes, the cervical pillow uses materials that cannot affect any human tissue. So it is safe for everyone whether suffering from skin conditions or asthma or not.

Can the ATLAS-T® Pillow be washed?
Yes. The pillow can be washed by hand according to the instructions on the care label.

Is the ATLAS-T® Pillow available in different sizes, i.e. standard, queen or king size?
